The muffler body has a diameter of 3 1/2 "(8.89 cm.) And widens to a diameter of 4" (10.16 cm.)

Sound and back pressure can be easily adjusted by increasing or reducing the number of internal disks.
Disk system:
A feature of the SuperTrapp firm consists of a series of perfectly aligned diameter discs that form the exhaust outlet that by adding or subtracting the discs, the pilot can adjust the power band and sound of his machine in just a few minutes With basic hand tools.
Disc extraction: decreases the air outlet and increases the back pressure. This effectively reduces the power curve to create more torque at low speed. It also decreases the exhaust tone and enriches carburation.
Adding discs: increases exhaust output and reduces back pressure. This extends the power band at the upper end. It also increases the exhaust tone and looks out for carburetion.
SuperTrapp systems come with installation instructions that indicate the recommended number of disks for each application.
